This walk is to raise awareness and funds to support The Animal Cancer Foundation
A dog named Beau, who was a friend of The Next Best Thing Pet Care lost his hard fought battle to cancer back in April 2008. This walk is in his honor and all the other pets that have been diagnosed with cancer. The walk benefits the Animal Cancer Foundation, a cancer research organization that is committed to advancing the prevention and treatment of cancers that affect both people and pets. It funds research into promising new treatments for pets with cancer.

Mid-day walks are a great way to release that pent up energy before you get home so that you can spend your evening with a calm, content dog. Hiring a dog walker doesn’t mean that you’ll miss out on spending bonding time with your pet but IT DOES mean that when you go for your evening walk it will be enjoyable for both of you rather than frenzied. A dog who has been exercised earlier in the day will be less likely to jump, pull, and run circles around you until you both get tangled in the leash! Most importantly, we can schedule your dog’s walk at the time you feel is best so that they don’t go to long without the relief they may need.
